This hay net is designed for the trailer, miniature horses, smaller grazing animals or for slow feeding meals.  Traditional drawcord closure and measures 30"x24" when flat with the opening on the larger side for easier filling and holds up to 13 pounds of forage.  Comes with a large carabiner for hanging and a spares kit with repair cord.

How to Choose your mesh size:

1″ SMALLER animals or I/R horses.  To reduce consumption further after using 1.5″ mesh if necessary.

1.5” OPTIMAL opening to slow consumption, mimic grazing, prevent waste

2″ AGGRESSIVE eaters, alfalfa diets, larger muzzled animals. May reduce to smaller mesh size if necessary

This slow feed net is designed like a pillowcase to carry an entire 110 lb bale of forage hay. Measures 48"x 66" when flat and closes on the short end using parachute cord to weave the top closed.  A full 3-string bale should last an average 1000 lb horse 5-7 days once the horse is transitioned. Comes with 2 break-away carabiners for hanging, spares kit with 2 optional cords for hanging or using to weave through the top to use as a traditional drawstring bag or to tie into tub or trough (tub not included), 1 replacement break-away carabiner and a repair cord.
